April 20, 2023 - Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office XI released a list of Halal Certified Establishments within the City of Davao; this is to help tourists and even locals find Halal Certified establishments and even manage their itinerary even for government agencies centers and headquarters who need to provide Halal food, products and services for their guests.

As of 2022, the value of Halal in the world market is at net $7.2 trillion, which includes all options excluding potential and Halal friendly businesses.
